| Furniture Upholstery by Edmund
Czajkowski & Son Ltd.
 |
Upholstery is a part of our restoration service
but we have also made new upholstered furniture. This is
usually found in the form of dining and easy chairs.
Situated in Woodhall Spa, near Lincoln, Lincolnshire, within
the East Midlands, England, we upholster antique furniture
in the manner in which it would have been upholstered originally.
This often means replacing incorrect stuffing, such as foam,
which was never used on antique furniture. All re-upholstery
is fitted with a fire resistant (FR) interliner. We restore
and re-upholster Victorian button back upholstery and other
intricate items. We carry a large range of samples and can
supply fabric or will fit fabric and material supplied by
our clients.
Poor quality conservation and restoration can severely devalue,
what was otherwise a valued item of furniture so it is important
that re-upholstery is done correctly, especially on a valuable
item.
